Tracy Zserdin
Tracy is an author, speaker, and community builder; gifted at compassionately speaking truth and helping people find hope when life hurts. Described as a “firecracker full of love,” she is equal parts grit, grace, and glitter glue—holding people together with encouragement, honesty, and a fierce belief in their worth.
She is the Executive Director of Cultivate OKC, a venture accelerator for redemptive entrepreneurs. She co-founded Made Possible By, where she championed generosity and community impact. As President and CEO of the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce, she became a small-town unifier. She hosted the Conversations Around Good Podcast, lifting up stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Tracy spent more than a decade in the health and wellness industry creating spaces where people felt strong, welcomed, and capable.
Across every season, Tracy has created spaces for belonging, empowering and cheering on anyone brave enough to keep going. As a noticer-of-people, a peacemaker, and a professional encourager, Tracy brings intentional, enduring love into every room she enters.
She lives on an Oklahoma red dirt road with her wild warrior men, (Manly Mike, Isaac The Fearless, Jake The Adventurer, and Kace The Adorable). Secretly an introvert, her best days include sunshine, a good book, her back porch (or the beach) and chocolate. Always chocolate.
At first, I wasn’t fond of the idea of my mom writing a book about how screwed up I made my childhood. Honestly, I didn’t like the idea at all. But, then I gave it some thought, read the book, and considered the fact that my mom is pure love, and this isn’t a story of how much of a screw-up I am but a story of a troubled me and the unconditional love of a mother and father. You are going to read this and you’re probably not going to like me and you're probably going to wonder where I am today, and you're probably not going to be surprised that I’m back in prison. But I really don’t care what you think about me. I just hope that if you're dealing with a child who is as troubled as me, then this book will help guide you and give you someone to look up to. Not me, by the way, I mean my mom and dad. I hope and pray that you have what it takes to show your kid the kind of unfailing love that my parents gave me. Enjoy the ride.
Yours truly, Isaac —
In Disruptive Grace, Tracy offers an unflinching glimpse into the challenges of raising her son Isaac, while shining a light on the transformative power of God’s grace. This isn’t a step-by-step guide or a quick fix; instead, it’s a story of resilience, hope, and faith in the midst of the mess. Tracy shares
her journey through the early signs of trouble, feeling helpless when traditional disciplines didn’t work, dealing with the aftermath of Isaac’s actions, and coping when those actions lead Isaac to prison.
This book invites you to see how God creates a way through the hardest moments, remains steadfast in the chaos, and has a purpose beyond what we can imagine. With contributions from family and friends, including honest reflections from Isaac himself, Disruptive Grace offers understanding and solidarity for those navigating their own tough roads. Come as you are. There’s no judgement here - just grace, hope, and a story that may help you
find your own.
